Force Motors has a 3-door Gurkha in its lineup that competes with the Mahindra Thar. The 5-door Force Gurkha appears to be the company’s new flagship to appeal to a wider audience. The launch is approaching, and the company has begun training dealer staff.
5-Door Force Gurkha will have more substance and practicality than a three-door Thar. Force Motors, as seen with 3-Door Gurkha, lacks finesse. To begin, it has the same interior as Trax Cruiser, a commercial people mover.
The engine is the same 2.6L Mercedes-Benz engine that powers every other commercial vehicle in Force Motors’ lineup. Force Motors’ CVs should emphasise finesse and distinction.
5-Door Force Gurkha has a G-Class-inspired design that draws a lot of attention. Because of its height, it commands a presence on the road. Because of its front and rear lockable differentials, it may have a slight advantage over the Thar when it comes to off-roading. Gurkha comes with a variety of accessories that can be installed at the dealership.
New spy shots show the same layout as the 3-Door Gurkha. Power window buttons for rear windows are now located on the rear doors. The controls for the front door windows are still located in the centre console. The 5-Door Force Gurkha lacks the rear AC vents found on the 13-seater Cruiser MUV.
All these variants have been spied on and are expected to be released. If these seating arrangements aren’t your thing, don’t worry. A massive Gurkha with a 13-seat capacity is also in the works. Force Motors will offer steel wheels on lower trims and 18-inch alloy wheels on higher trims. Base variants are unlikely to receive 4X4 equipment to set a competitive price.
Lower-spec 5-Door Gurkha may be priced to 3-Door Gurkha, if not lower. Top-spec The 5-Door Gurkha could cost between Rs 15.5 and 16 lakh (all prices ex-sh). It will compete with the upcoming 5-door Mahindra Thar and the 5-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
