India currently features the 2018 variant of the Ford Mustang for its markets while the 2020 variant has been launched in some parts of the world.
Powered by the naturally-aspirated 5.0L V8 petrol engine, the Mustang is capable of churning out a maximum power of 401HP and a peak torque of 515Nm. The sports car is available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox in the Indian markets.
The iconic sports car gets a wheelbase of 2720mm while measures 4784mm in length and 2080mm in width. The exclusive sports car is built at Ford’s assembly plant situated in Flat Rock, Michigan.
The Ford Mustang has been capable to bag a sales number of almost 102,090 units in 2019 across the world, though the sales for the Indian markets have dropped by 19% in 2019 when compared to the sales registered in 2018. The sports car currently competes in the Indian markets against the likes of Mercedes-AMG series cars and the Porsche Cayman with their price tags lying in the same vicinity.
