The first generation Ford Fiesta was unveiled in 1976, 40 years before our very own 2016. The American car maker has now unveiled the latest generation 2017 Ford Fiesta hatchback internationally, taking the 4 decade old hatchback to the next level of sophistication. This time, the car will flaunt 4 different production variants namely Fiesta Titanium, ST-Line, Vignale and Fiesta Active Crossover. This makes it an even more interesting product than ever.
2017 New Ford Fiesta Officially Unveiled
Ford offers updated interiors with floating HD touchscreen, SYNC 3 infotainment system and premium B&O PLAY sound system. In fact, the positioning of switches and their number has been extensively improved with more functions from the touchscreen. Fiesta lineup is powered by 1.0 L, 3-cylinder Ecoboost engine that is the first of its kind to feature cylinder deactivation. It just takes 14 milliseconds to engage or disengage a cylinder.
The car now features slim front headlight, wider grille, horizontal rear lamps and 15 percent stiffer body. The ST Line variant uses side skirts, bigger wheels, flat bottom steering wheel and sport suspension over the regular version.
