2022 Ford Endeavour Unveiled Officially; India Launch Possible

American carmaker, Ford unveiled the first-gen Endeavour in 2003, and since then it has gone through several updates. And now, the latest 2022 Endeavour (called Everest globally) has been revealed officially with a plethora of improvements. The three-row SUV based on the Ranger is larger and more capable. With a 50mm longer wheelbase and a same-length wider track, the new SUV is going to be fun to drive.

The 2022 Ford Endeavour will be sold in five grades named Ambiente, Sport, Trend, Titanium, and Platinum. Looking at the design language, the car now boasts new LED lights with C-shaped DRLs, a full-width grille, and a robust bumper. On the outside, it now gets bigger wheels (up to 21-inch) and a bigger rear window. Turning to the rear profile, the windscreen angle has been extended and the taillamp is also full-width with a smoked lens.

On the inside, the new Endeavour’s cabin offers more space for enhanced comfort for the passengers. It comes equipped with a new digital instrument cluster (8 or 12.4-inch) and a portrait-style infotainment touchscreen (10.1 or 12-inch). Apart from these, the other key features are a wireless device charging pad, heated and ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, remote start function, 360-degree camera, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate and many more.

The new-gen Endeavour is going to be offered with two engine options: a 2.0L, four-cylinder, bi-turbo diesel and a 3.0L, turbo-diesel V6. Both these engines are coupled with a 10-speed auto transmission. Besides, there will be a 2.3-litre petrol engine, which will be offered in 2023 for selected markets only. The power and torque figures are yet to be revealed. In addition, the all-wheel-drive system is anticipated to be offered on top-end variants only.

As far as the car’s pricing and availability are concerned, the price will be revealed later with the official launch, and for now, the new 2022 Ford Endeavour will be offered in Australia, Africa, and many Asia-Pacific countries. It is likely to come to our shores as a completely built-up unit by the end of this year.
