Ford Aspire CNG has been launched in India for INR 6.27 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is also available with standard petrol and diesel engine option for those who are not into extensive driving. The above-mentioned price is for the CNG Ambiente variant while CNG Trend Plus can be had for INR 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available with an inbuilt speed limiter with 80 kph setting and claims that the CNG kit is programmed into the ECU for maximum efficiency in power output and overall mileage. The added weight of the kit is balanced through the front stabilization bar on the new Aspire CNG.
The CNG variant comes with standard safety features like dual front airbags, rear parking camera and sensors, adjustable headrests and remote central locking. Also, the car is available with 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a climate-control system, and power windows. The system comes with satellite navigation as standard. The CNG variant comes with 1,00,000 kilometre/2-year warranty and 46 paise/km of maintenance cost. The model is perfect for the cab operators as they require the least amount of driving and maintenance cost per kilometre from a car for maximum profits.
The speed governor is only mandatory for car operators and buyers considering the CNG variant for personal use will not get the same factory-fitted on their car. Ford Aspire is an impressive compact sedan with a powerful 1.5L diesel engine and refined 1.2L, three-cylinder petrol motor. The output for both the engines is worth praising as the diesel claims to be the most powerful car of its segment with 100 HP of output. The petrol option produces 96 HP of power and thus, can safely be called a balanced engine option for those who drive less-than-usual but expect power on the slight tap.
