Ford EcoSport Signature Edition has been launched in India for INR 10.40 lakh. This price tag belongs to the petrol variant while diesel costs INR 10.99 lakh. Both numbers are ex-showroom Delhi. The increase in price is INR 85,000 for petrol and INR 1 lakh for the diesel EcoSport.
This model comes with body colored inserts within the dashboard, door panel and seats of the car. Seats are offered with contrast stitching for sportier appeal. All black theme with minimal chrome use makes EcoSport a classy option to own when considering interior finish.
Ford EcoSport is one heavily loaded option as buyers get SYNC 3 infotainment system, parking camera, ABS with EBD, hill start assist, auto headlights, electronic stability control, brake assist and much more on this variant. Both of these are based on Titanium trim level and thus, only two airbags are offered.
The car comes with 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and Ford specific front grill for dominating overall stance. Adding sunroof completes this package with high demand features and thus, makes EcoSport the most tempting option available in sub 4 meter SUV segment.
However, this also brings the car into much more powerful, Hyundai Creta’s territory. It seems like buyers can get 300mm longer Maruti S-Cross with almost identical features for the price of flagship EcoSport Titanium S. That brings much more legroom and overall space for buyers.
Ford EcoSport Signature Edition uses the same 1.5L petrol and diesel engine. The former is good for 123 PS at 6500 rpm and 150 Nm at 4500 rpm while diesel brings 100 PS and 205 Nm. Signature Edition is available in Anodized Blue shade for further exclusivity.
EcoSport is now available with three different engine options in India. Range starts from INR 7.82 lakh (Petrol Ambiente) and goes up to INR 11.89 lakh (Diesel Titanium S).
