Ford EcoSport Titanium S has been launched in India for INR 11.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The price mentioned here is for the much awaited 1.0L EcoBoost petrol variant. This model is their new flagship for petrol compact SUV lineup. EcoSport 1.5L Diesel Titanium S, on the other hand, is priced at INR 11.89 lakh. That makes it the most expensive compact SUV on sale in India.
Ford is using black accessory finish to make Titanium S variant stand firmly in front of Maruti Vitara Brezza with an iCreate custom accessory package on top. The car comes all-new set of alloy wheels, black roof rails, six-speed manual gearbox and much more in terms of overall looks. It will sit above regular Titanium Plus variants for a price difference of INR 85,000.
EcoBoost 1.0L petrol motor used here is good for 125 HP and 170 Nm of torque. It is the most powerful and least emitting option to consider among other two engines. This concludes that Ford EcoSport Titanium S is available in two different engines and single 6-speed gearbox. Standard features on S variant includes sunroof, tyre pressure monitoring system and 4.2 inch driver assistance display.
Interior of this typical model comes with color-coded interior lining and dashboard highlights. Standard features include enhanced safety through 6 airbags, 17-inch newly designed alloy wheels, SYNC 3 infotainment system with 9-inch touchscreen and much more. Cruise control will also stay standard across Titanium S range.
Ford recently updated entire EcoSport lineup to add more features into certain variants. Buyers were charged between INR 5000 to INR 10000 for these additions. Passenger seat belt reminder and speed sensing auto door lock is now available across entire range while rear parking sensors were added to Ambiente and Trend variant.
More than that, the rear camera is now standard across every variant except Ambiente. The screen size was updated to 9 inches while navigation is now offered with this system on Trend and above variants. Ambient lighting and Ford MyKey are now available on Titanium+ and Titanium S variants only.
