Ford Puma, the much-awaited crossover from the American manufacturer has been officially unveiled before the global showcase planned for the Frankfurt Motor Show. The SUV-like character and premium hatchback feel of the car makes it a great option for those buyers who are looking for a city-specific car with a pinch of added excitement to itself. The 1.0L EcoBoost engine of the car is expected to arrive with 155 HP of maximum power, all thanks to the 48-volt hybrid support. The car comes with hands-free tailgate function and adaptive cruise control to keep the driver relaxed at all times.
Ford brings impressive features like speed sign recognition, lane alert and massage function to the car. The product is focused on the European market and Ford seems to keep up with the pace of impressive cars through the mild hybrid crossovers. The Indian market launch plans are not on the cards as the brand is planning to keep up with the Mahindra partnership and bring localized products to the country. Ford Puma is here with a smart boot section, helping owners keep the space practical for everyday use and extend the same whenever required through a movable panel.
The car comes with 18-inch standard wheels and can also be had with optional 19-inch wheels after the official launch event. Even before the launch, most of the details have been made available by the brand. New Ford Puma will available in Blazer Blue, Race Red, Frozen White, Solar Silver, Lucid Red, Agate Black, Desert Island Blue, Metropolis White, Magnetic, and Grey Matter shade options. The 456-litre boot space, seven-speed DSG, 12 sensors and impressive 8-inch console display makes Ford Puma a very desirable option. The Bang & Olufsen sound system with 10 speakers and subwoofer further improves the driving and ownership experience for the car.
