2023 Honda CR-V Images Leaked; Front and Rear Design Revealed

The Honda CR-V reached the end of its cycle in the global market, including India. Before the discontinuation, they offered it in both 5-seater and 7-seater layouts. The CR-V was one of the first premium SUVs to be offered in the 5-seat configuration. After the Japanese automaker shut down its operations at the Noida-based facility, the CR-V along with Civic and Accord were discontinued in India.

Now Honda is working on the development of a next-gen CR-V. Images of what looks like a new Honda CR-V are being circulated online. We could clearly see the front and the rear of the premium SUV in these leaked photos. 2023 New Gen Honda CR-V looks a lot like the exclusive Honda Breeze which is sold in the Chinese market.

The next-gen CR-V design is in coherence with the modern Honda cars. The front fascia with a thick slab of chrome underlining the bonnet underneath has a horizontally slatted grille. The grille is distinguished by LED headlights with unique internals and integrated LED DRLs. It has a chunky, robust bumper at the front, adding ruggedness to the SUV. Strips of LED position lights on both sides of the bumper seem to be influenced by the new-gen HR-V.

Next-Gen CR-V flaunts L-shaped LED taillights and twin exhaust pipes at the rear. The side profile of the SUV includes a chrome beltline surrounding windows, side door cladding and large overhangs. Other exterior styling includes 18-inch alloy wheels, sunroof, shark-fin antenna, and a roof-mounted blacked-out spoiler.

Whether Honda will launch the new-gen CR-V in India is not clear yet. Considering the failure of the previous-gen model in the Indian market, they might just skip the CR-V launch altogether. There have been reports suggesting that Honda is working on a Creta rivalling SUV for the Indian market, but there is no official word on the launch timeline.
