2020 BS6 Honda City Sedan Variant-Wise Price List: Honda India has recently updated the City sedan with a BS6-compliant petrol engine. The price range of updated 2020 model of the sedan starts at INR 9.91 lakh and goes all the way up to INR 14.31 lakh. The BS6 models are priced around INR 15,000 higher than the BS4 versions. For now, the Honda City is only available with a petrol engine option as the brand has not yet updated the diesel version of the sedan to comply with the BS6 emission norms.
Honda has officially confirmed that the sedan will get a BS6-compliant diesel engine with the launch of the next-gen 2021 model in the coming months. Till then, the ongoing fourth-gen model will continue to be on sale with petrol engine option only. Mechanically, the power and torque figures of the BS6 Honda City petrol remain the same.
The sedan is powered by the same 1.5-litre, i-VTEC, 4-cylinder petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 119 HP @ 6600 rpm and a peak torque of 145 Nm @ 4600 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the customers also get an option to choose a CVT automatic gearbox. In terms of the design, there are no visible cosmetic changes on the BS6 model of the car. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list for the 2020 Honda City:
