Honda City 20th Anniversary Edition has been launched in India for INR 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This price is for the petrol CVT variant while diesel manual City costs INR 13.82 lakh (ex-showroom).
The variant marks two decades of Honda City’s success story in India. Both the variants are based on the ZX trim. Honda offers the car with exterior body styling, door lower garnish and 20th Anniversary badges. Honda City is popular for its frugal 1.5L engine producing 119 HP and returning a healthy 17.4 kmpl.
Honda also offers 1 month free subscription of Honda Connect with 20th Anniversary Edition. The package offers impact alert, locate my car, vehicle health monitoring, trip analysis and share my location option as standard.
Diesel version of Honda City is presently available with just a manual gearbox. Buyers these days prefer Honda’s 1.5L diesel engine for its efficient nature, returning 25.6 kmpl of mileage and producing 100 HP of maximum power.
Honda also brings two other special editions with the City. Honda Amaze Pride Edition was launched at INR 6.30 lakh for petrol and INR 7.83 lakh for the diesel engine. It is based on the S (O) variant and now adds 7-inch touchscreen with navigation, Pride Edition seats, steering cover, front armrest and rear parking sensors.
Honda WR-V Edge Edition is based on the S variant and adds 16-inch alloy wheels, rear camera with IRVM, parking sensor and Honda Connect 1 month membership with the special edition. Edge Edition starts at INR 8.01 lakh for petrol and 9.05 lakh for the diesel engine.
Honda cars are one among the most reliable options available in India. They offer standard safety features across most variants and rival Maruti and Hyundai cars primarily. Honda City is their best selling model in India.
