Honda WR-V Turbo Pace Car Unveiled in Brazil

Honda WR-V Turbo Unveiled in Brazil: Honda WR-V is one among popular options that buyers consider under INR 10 lakh. It went successfully through tough times that Honda has faced with almost entire range of products (except City) and sells over 4000 units on average every month.

Honda WR-V Turbo may sound like a production spec model but in reality, it was built as a safety car for track racers. The car will help competitors stay away from danger during their track racing events in Brazil. WR-V already had an expressive front face with tough guy looks and effective style lines but this one looks the best out of all.

Honda offers racing decals, black chrome front grill and spoilers at both ends for better performance and looks. Low profile tyres, white highlights, lowered suspension, four wheel disc brakes and extra wide wheels make this typical WR-V one great option for head turning effect.

Honda uses a powerful 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine that is good for 165 HP on WR-V Turbo. They claim this engine to produce a max of 211 HP when tuned with improved turbo setting. Brazil spec Honda WR-V is available with 1.5L naturally aspirated engine producing 115 HP in stock condition.

The engine used on WR-V Turbo also comes with a different exhaust system. Honda used Sparco bucket seats with four point seat belts for proper race track feel when sitting inside this car. India spec WR-V is powered by 1.2L, four cylinder petrol engine producing just 89 HP of maximum power.

The engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT unit and lacks certain Brazil spec features. WR-V rivals none other than Hyundai i20 Active and Ford Freestyle in India. Top spec WR-V variant comes loaded with features like sunroof, cruise control, gunmetal finish alloy wheels and much more for the Indian market.
