This article is a big joke.. Comparing the Jeep with the Creta? Jeep is in a completely different league. When you have taken the liberty, you should have compared the Creta with the Mercedes GL450 too while your were at it... BTW, I am a Creta owner and proud of my car.. but, I still have the sense on what my rival cars are..
This is exactly what is wrong with Indian automotive joutnalism. I haven't seen a more illogical comparison and worse content than this. One is a soft roader compact SUV, the Creta if you don't understand which one I am talking about (judging from the article, chances are high you won't). The other has a much spacious interior, more premium feel and is dimensionally bigger.
Features aren't everything. Driving pleasure is an aspect what automotive enthusiasts love, not features. The Creta isn't half as fun to drive as the Compass. The Creta maybe good on the road but so are many other regular cars. The Compass is fun to drove on the road and much more fun off it. The basic intention of the makers behind making the cars are as different as chalk and cheese.
Get your act right, Maxabout. Its because of stupid journalism like this that the automotive industry has more commercially successful cars than more fun to drive cars. And the latter is what a car enthusiast looks for.
Funny.. compass engine..ride quality is far superior to creta. It's choice of buyers as per their requirements. How can you compare 2 different categories?y don't you compare creta with i20 cross or with s cross??
