After gracing the market with the addition of i30 N Line as well as the Elantra GT N Line, Hyundai has now revealed the all-new Tucson N line version. It is the first performance SUV from the brand that gets an N Line treatment. Adding to the SUV’s racing design is a sportier cabin, redesigned front bumpers, 19-inch black alloy wheels as well as a tweaked chassis.
A dark chrome grille at the front and black bezels around the LED daytime running lights give the SUV an aggressive styling while the black roof adds onto its sporty persona. It gets a gloss-finish rear spoiler while the dark window frames give it an authentic sports car stance.
In addition to the cosmetic changes, the Hyundai Tucson N Line also gets a tweaked suspension with 8% more rigidity at the front while the rear gets a good 5%. The steering wheel has also been redesigned to offer more focus to the driver. Coming to the interiors, the Hyundai Tucson gets an N-branded suede leather seats with red accents with contrast stitching on the steering wheel.
The SUV is available with three powertrain options: 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre diesel engines capable of churning maximum power of 137hp and 185hp respectively while the 1.6-litre turbo-petrol engine is good for 177hp. Both the powertrains can be made available with either a two-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive option while the engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT.
The all-new N Line Hyundai Tucson will be available in the European markets while there hasn’t been any confirmation regarding the launch of the SUV in India. The Indian market is all set to witness the launch of the Hyundai Tucson facelift in the coming months.
