New Hyundai Veloster N has been unveiled for the US market. It was seen at 2018 North American International Motor Show and becomes first N product for the market. The high level of performance is guaranteed through better frame and fire breathing engine on the car.
2019 Veloster N comes with impressive cornering skills and strikes perfect balance between an everyday sports car and track racer. The showcase is just a hint at South Korean manufacturers intense plans as production version will enter various markets by end 2018. Even the production will commercially start in September 2018 at Ulsan, Korea.
The N-design front face looks too cool for the road as fans will witness a huge Hyundai grill with bigger air ducts and enhanced tyre as well as brake cooling properties. It flaunts those 235/35, 19-inch Pirelli tyres over a beautiful lightweight alloy design.
Rear offers a glimpse of huge spoiler, integrated diffuser and exclusive dual exhaust with higher than normal flow. Inside features sport seats, N-design steering wheel, lightweight components and much more.
Hyundai uses a 2.0L, turbocharged engine on Veloster N, producing nothing less than 275 HP at 6000 rpm and 352 Nm at 1450-4700 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed short throw manual gearbox.
Buyers will be offered with an option of huge 13.6 inch front brakes while standard size is 13 inch. US market will get the Veloster N in exclusive Performance Blue, Ultra Black, Chalk White and Racing Red.
Driving modes on the car includes Normal, Sport, N Eco and N Custom mode. N specific limited slip differential further helps the car achieve the highest level of agility while not compromising on handling.
Indian market has zero N specific models available presently. Volkswagen and Abarth are the only brands that offers a hot hatch in India.
