The prototype model of the next-gen Hyundai Creta was unveiled by the brand in China earlier this year. Christened as Hyundai ix25, the SUV has also been spied on the Indian roads recently. The newly surfaced images of the 2020 Hyundai ix25’s interior gives us a clear view of what the brand is going to offer on the next-gen Creta in the Indian market. The images have been shot at Hyundai’s Beijing facility where the next-gen SUV is under production and is expected to be launched in China in October this year.
As per the latest images, the 2020 Hyundai ix25 (Creta) features an all-black interior that is different from the dual-tone beige and black theme displayed earlier at Auto China 2019. As per the reports, the brand will be selling the SUV in multiple interior colour options depending on the different variants.
The brand has offered a rather clean look to the interior of the SUV with two AC vents at the middle mated to an awesome 8-inch vertical touchscreen infotainment system located just below them.
The infotainment system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay in addition to having other connectivity features for AC controls as well as a 360-degree parking camera. The brand has also equipped the SUV with a fully-digital instrument console.
According to the rumours, the higher variants of the SUV are expected to feature a panoramic sunroof in addition to ventilated seats as well as other premium bits. Longer by 30mm when compared to the earlier version of Hyundai Creta, the SUV now measures 4,300mm in length, 1,630mm in height and 1,790mm in width. The brand will be launching the SUV in the Indian market with revised measurements when compared to the China-spec variant.
Powering China-bound Hyundai ix25 is the 1.5-litre petrol engine that has replaced the 1.6-litre unit available on the earlier version. For the Indian market, the next-gen Hyundai Creta will get BS6-compliant 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine variants.
The reports also suggest that the India-bound SUV will also feature a Kia Setos-inspired 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine. The yet-to-be-launched next-gen Hyundai Creta will compete in the market with the likes of Kia Seltos, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, Nissan Kicks, and the Renault Captur.
