2020 Hyundai i20 Interior Officially Revealed: The first-ever interior image of the upcoming 2020 Hyundai i20 that will be officially launched at the Geneva Motor Show has been recently revealed by the brand. The facelifted hatchback was earlier unveiled with a set of exterior images last week and features a new distinguished profile when compared to the last-gen version.
Coming to the interiors, the updated hatchback has been equipped with the 2020 Hyundai Creta-inspired leather-wrapped steering wheel design. In addition to this, the hatchback now features a fully-digital instrument console as well as new buttons for the audio control. The brand has equipped it with a cruise control system while the customers can operate it in three riding modes.
The digital instrument cluster is capable of changing the background colour to blue, green and orange whenever the normal, eco and sport mode are selected respectively. The customers can further avail the updated hatchback in three interior trims namely Black Mono, Black and Gray, and Yellow Green.
The dashboard has been equipped with a large 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen that is further compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in addition to getting Hyundai’s BlueLink connectivity technology, as well as, offers live updates on location, real-time traffic, weather forecast and more.
The dashboard design is further equipped with neatly integrated AC vents that look like a single entity while the brand has further offered various USB ports and mobile charging ports just below it. The hatchback has been equipped with a premium audio system from Bose while gets ambient lighting inside the cabin, push-button start/stop system and more.
The 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine and the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol unit will be available to the customers with a manual gearbox as standard while the dual-clutch AMT can also be availed with the turbo petrol engine variant. Once launched in India, the 2020 Hyundai i20 will compete in the market with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz and the Toyota Glanza while one can expect the updated price range to be around INR 6 lakh – INR 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
