Hyundai i30, one of the most sought after hatchbacks from the brand has been offered a mid-cycle update. The brand has equipped the 2020 Hyundai i30 facelift with an all-new mild-hybrid engine in addition to offering a tweaked exterior as well as multiple other safety features.
Coming to the front fascia, the hatchback has been equipped with an all-new wider grille design which further features a redesigned 3D pattern. In addition to the tweaked headlight unit at the front, the V-shaped LED DRLs are also new.
Both the Fastback and the five-door variant of the hatchback has been equipped with a new front and rear bumper design while the N-line variant of the 2020 Hyundai i30 has also been updated with a different grille at the front and various other premium features.
Inside the cabin, the updated hatchback now features a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster while the touch screen infotainment system has also been revised and now measures 10.25-inches. The brand has equipped it with Hyundai’s connected car technology that offers a plethora of additional functionalities. The hatchback further features a wireless phone charging system while the addition of a new safety kit is a plus.
The 2020 Hyundai i30 will be available to the customers in three additional colour variants namely Dark Night, Silky Bronze and Sunset Red. In addition to the exterior colour versions, one can also choose the cabin colour from the three new colour schemes which are Pewter Gray, Ebony Brown and Charcoal Grey.
The customers can avail the hatchback with a 1.0-litre 48V mild-hybrid engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 120HP while the 1.6-litre diesel engine is good 136HP of maximum power. Both the engine variants can be availed with a manual as well as an all-new 7-speed DCT gearbox.
In addition to this, the brand has equipped the all-new N-Line variant with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 160HP. The hatchback is expected to go on sale in the coming months in the international markets after its official unveiling at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. The Indian market is expected to get the Hyundai i30 Fastback N variant later this year.
