The updated sedan is all set to be launched by the brand by the end of this month while the bookings have already commenced at the dealerships across the country.
The facelifted sedan has been equipped with Hyundai’s Blue Link Technology that offers a total of more than 45 in-car features. Coming to the interior images, the brand has imparted the facelifted variant of the sedan with almost similar interiors like that of the last-gen variant though one can easily recognise an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Another one of the most notable changes offered to the 2020 Hyundai Verna Facelift is the fully-digital instrument console that has replaced the analogue unit seen in the last-gen sedan. In addition to this, the brand has offered the sedan with faux wood trim on the dashboard which replaces the faux-aluminium trim seen on the last-gen Verna.
The updated sedan further features the 2020 Creta-inspired AC vents design while the upholstery has also been tweaked a bit. The customers can avail the facelifted sedan in six colour schemes namely black, red, white, silver, grey and ‘Starry Night’.
Powering the 2020 Hyundai Verna Facelift will be three new engine options namely a 1.5-litre petrol engine that is good for 115HP, a 1.5-litre VGT turbo-diesel engine that offers 115HP and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine good for 120HP.
The engines will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard with an option for CVT and DCT gearboxes for particular trims. Once launched in India, one can expect the updated sedan to compete in the market with the likes of the updated Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento, Toyota Yaris and more.
