2022 Hyundai Venue Spotted Testing – Here’s What it Got

Hyundai is currently working on bringing a facelift version of the Venue to the market. The compact SUV was initially introduced in the Indian market in 2019 and has now become one of the best-selling cars in India. The company is now planning to release it in a new form later this year, and the new-gen version is currently being tested in South Korea.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue has also been updated from the front end and has been given a new look, which is inspired by the new model of Creta and Tucson. Apart from the new front fascia, it will also have new LED taillights, a new tailgate, rear bumpers, and all-new alloy wheels. At the same time, Hyundai is also expected to make some minor changes to the interior of the new model of Venue.

Coming to the interior, it can be equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel and a 20.32cm touchscreen HD display. Some of the key features of the car include the likes of Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Auto Climate Control, Push Button Start Stop, an Electric Sunroof, Wireless Mobile Charging, Cruise Control, and Bluelink Connected Car Technology.

2022 Hyundai Venue will be brought in with the same engine options. The standard petrol variant has a 1.2-litre engine that generates 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. It comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The second engine option is a 1.4-litre diesel engine that provides 89 bhp of power and 220 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The most powerful engine option is a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that provides 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque and comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

In terms of safety, some of the key features include the likes of electronic brake distribution, a rear parking camera, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill assist control, brake assist system, and ISOFIX, along with ABS. Hyundai Venue has been a successful SUV for the company, which is why a facelift version is being released. At the same time, the brand is also going to bring an N-line version to woo the customers in India.
