At the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, which is one of the largest auto shows held in Indonesia, Hyundai officially showcased the 2023 model of the Creta SUV. After the official unveiling, the top-end variants – Prime and Style – have started reaching dealerships in Indonesia.
According to the Instagram images posted by Indra Fathan, who also owns a YouTube channel, the cars have reached the showrooms and are enhancing the beauty of the place. The two variants of Hyundai Creta, namely Prime and Style, can be seen in the pictures; slight differences set the variants apart.
The 2023 version of the Hyundai Creta has arrived with subtle cosmetic upgrades, be it interior or exterior. Starting with the exterior, both the variants of the SUV are pretty much the same with the Prime variant getting some minor additions to set it apart from the rest of the versions of the car.
The Style version comes with a white exterior paint job and black pillars whereas the Prime model gets a blacked-out roof too. Both have a prominent skid plate on the front bumper and the Prime variant gets a red lip underlining with comprehensive air intake which is absent in the Style variant.
The same red underlining can be seen on the rear bumper of the Prime variant. Both cars get an all-black glossy front grille with a parametric jewel design, inspired by the new generation Hyundai Tucson.
The grille has a glossy black H emblem instead of chrome on it and has integrated LED DRLs which can only be noticed when illuminated. The Style variant also misses out few more features such as the panoramic sunroof and an in-built air purifier which are present in the Prime variant. Apart from that, Creta Prime has LED interior lighting whereas the Style variant features halogen lights.
In the Indonesian markets, Hyundai will be offering the Creta with a 1.5L petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual or a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) automatic gearbox. The Indian variants will be launched under different names with a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel unit and a 1.4-litre GDi turbo petrol mill. The new Creta has been specifically built for the Indonesian markets and according to recent reports, the 2023 model of the SUV is expected to hit Indian showrooms by the mid of this year.
