The facelift for the 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios includes cosmetic changes, new features, and updated engine options. Bookings are now being accepted across the country for a nominal fee of Rs 11,000. Significant changes have been made to the styling, making it look new. The front bumper has been updated with a larger grille and redesigned LED DRLs.
The side profile is similar, but the wheels are new 15-inch diamond-cut alloys. A new LED tail light cluster is available, with a strip on the tailgate connecting the two lights. It appears to be new, but there is a hint of Santro in the design.
There are six colours available, including a new Spark Green. The interior is identical, with the same dashboard layout. There is a new instrument cluster design. It was before semi-digital, but now it has an analogue cluster with a multi-information display in the centre.
The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 comes with LED Tail lamps, Fast USB Charger [Type C], and footwell lighting. Safety features include a tyre pressure monitoring system, cruise control, ESC, Hill Start Assist, and ISOFIX. It also has four standard airbags and six optional airbags.
Hyundai has discontinued both the diesel engine and the turbo petrol engine options. The Grand i10 Nios now only has two engine choices: 1.2-litre petrol and 1.2-litre petrol with CNG.
The 1.2-litre gasoline engine generates 83 PS and 113.8 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT transmission. In CNG mode, the 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 69 PS and 95.2 Nm of torque. The CNG powertrain is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
