To begin with the exterior, the MY2023 Creta has a significantly reworked front end that is inspired by the bigger Tucson SUV. As a result, the redesigned Creta now sports Hyundai’s new parametric grille design, which spans the width of the vehicle and elegantly includes LED DRLs. The skid plate now has a squarish design. The only alteration on the sides is a revamp of the alloy wheel design. At the rear end, the tailgate now houses redesigned taillights that are sharper than those seen in the previous generation.

Coming to the interior of the 2023 Hyundai Creta, as expected, the interior layout remains essentially intact while getting some additional features. Some of the key features include the likes of a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster (similar to the Alcazar), a premium 8-speaker Bose sound system, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a cooled glovebox, ambient lighting, and an air purifier.

In addition to this, the most prominent feature update is the addition of the Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) that include safety technologies such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking.

Talking about the technical specifications, the India-spec Creta would be retaining its present engine line-up, which includes a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 115 hp and 144 Nm, a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 115 hp and 250 Nm, and a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine with 140 hp and 242 Nm. Aside from a six-speed manual transmission, there are three automatic transmission alternatives.
