Hyundai Creta and i20 Owners Facing Paint Quality Issues

According to a recent report by TeamBHP, certain owners of Hyundai cars have complained to the company regarding the paint peeling off from their vehicles. The cars like i20 Elite, i20 Active, and Creta have been listed under the poor paint quality issues. The customers have reportedly fill out several forums to send to the Hyundai officials regarding this matter.

A customer has reported the paint peeling off from his 3-year-old Hyundai i20 Active hatchback. The body panels affected from the issue include the car’s bonnet as well as the tailgate. The owners of other such cars have witnessed bubbles forming in the paint before it starts to peel off. One of the common things among all the reported quality issues in the Hyundai cars is that all of them are white in colour.

When asked to the dealerships regarding the reason for the paint peel off, the extremely hot weather has been reported to be responsible for the same. Another forum reports the paint to peel off from a Hyundai i20 Elite and the hatchback’s paint got peeled-off from several areas near the rear windshield.

A Hyundai Creta white colour variant in Chattarpur has witnessed the same quality issues near the rear windshield. All the other Cretas registered in the complaint forum also have the same issue of the paint peeling-off where the windshield meets the rear body panel.
