As we all know, Hyundai is actively working on the facelift model of its popular SUV Creta for the Indian car market, but in the meantime, the South Korean brand is all set to introduce the Knight Edition of the car. But ahead of the official debut, the design and price details of the car have leaked. The upcoming variant will get a blacked-out exterior and interior embellishments.
In comparison to the regular models of the SUV, the new Knight variant will boast a new gloss black grille with red inlays, blacked-out front and rear skid plates, and red front brake callipers. Besides this, the wing mirrors, roof rails, side sills, and C-pillar garnish are all blacked out. The Hyundai logos on the front and back are also finished in dark chrome. However, the wheels have been refinished in a new gunmetal hue, with a Knight Edition insignia on the tailgate.
In terms of the interior of the forthcoming variant, the all-black motif continues with the seat upholstery and the dashboard, with the AC vents painted in red for some contrast. The upholstery has red contrast stitching as well. As suggested by the leaked images, the Knight Edition Creta might be offered in two trims called S+, and SX (O).
As for the powerplant, the new variant is likely to be offered with two engine options. These include a 1.4-litre NA petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 114 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque and might be combined with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed IMT, or CVT automatic transmission. The 1.5-litre engine, on the other hand, produces 114 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque and is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
