Hyundai Creta with Sunroof Spotted in India: Hyundai Creta is the uncrowned king of compact SUV segment in India. The car that sells more units than Creta is Vitara Brezza and that only happens because it costs INR 4-5 lakh less than Hyundai’s best-selling premium product.
Dominance of Creta is such that products like Duster, Terrano and S-Cross have already lost the hope to survive in these conditions. To makes things even more interesting, Hyundai Creta was recently spied testing with a sunroof and new set of alloy wheels.
This is undoubtedly the much awaited face-lift of Creta that is already on sale in Brazilian market. The 17-inch wheels now look uber cool on the updated Creta. The sunroof seen here is shared with Hyundai Verna and thus, it won’t take time for them to speed up the production of top spec Creta in India with this new feature.
Hyundai keeps most visual features intact as they or even any other brand, will not like to break successful selling point of their product. Engines will definitely remain the same as present generation Creta. Also, they can now care less about price increase as closest rival Jeep Compass is placed quite high when compared to Hyundai Creta.
The 220 Nm of torque from smaller 1.4L engine is also enough to offer comfortable city rides while 260 Nm from 1.6L simply amazes everyone. These engines can be bought with six-speed manual as well as automatic gearbox options. Expecting new shades is another big thing as Hyundai has offered updated available list of colors for almost all its products in India.
