The huge number gathered within a week of its launch has resulted in a 3-month waiting period for the affordable hatchback in India. After getting double bookings than this number, Hyundai will increase the price tag, throwing away the introductory tag from the Maruti Celerio rival. The launch period selected by the Hyundai team is well known from years to bring big numbers to the brands and Santro branding further raised the experience for most hatchback buyers. The car starts from INR 3.90 lakh and goes up to INR 5.65 lakh for the CNG variant.
Those looking for a fully loaded petrol variant with a manual gearbox can consider the Asta variant for INR 5.46 lakh. Most bookings out of the above-given number are for Sportz and Asta variant.
