2019 Isuzu MU-X SUV Launched in India Starting @ INR 26.27 Lakh

Isuzu MU-X facelift was recently launched in India for INR 26.27 lakh. The Endeavour and Fortuner rival also comes with an all-wheel-drive variant for INR 28.23 lakh. Both the variants are available with a single diesel engine and 5-speed automatic gearbox option in the country. The massive 3.0L, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine used on the MU-X is good for 177hp of maximum power and 390 Nm of torque. Isuzu has raised the safety bar for their flagship product with six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, emergency brake assist and hill descent control as standard on both variants.

The premium SUV comes with a 5-year warranty along with 5-year free periodic servicing for the product. The deal is valid for 1,50,000 kilometer limit, which can be exhausted as per customer’s use. MU-X comes with a roof-mounted fold-able screen, cruise control, soft touch surface with leather upholstery and powered driver seat. The interior still comes with the huge round button pattern under the touchscreen infotainment system. The biggest change comes to the front fascia, now featuring LED daytime running lights with projector headlights and a redesigned bumper. The grille is also all new with different chrome pattern than the last version.

The pre-facelift model felt decades older in comparison to the present generation Ford Endeavour and Toyota Fortuner. The one seen here, however, comes closer to them in terms of overall utility and premium list of features. Still, the interior finish is far different in all rivals from Isuzu MU-X. The price point at which diesel automatic all-wheel-drive model is available here just offers diesel 4×2 options among all other rivals, making MU-X a value for money alternative to the seven-seat Indian SUVs. The front fascia is now more commanding than ever, joined by the stylish LED rear lights on the model.
