Now would be a good time for all the customers planning to buy Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pickup truck and MU-X SUV as select authorised dealers are offering huge discounts on both the products. The D-Max V-Cross priced at INR 15.32 lakh gets a discount of INR 3 lakh while the MU-X priced at INR 27.35 lakh gets a discount of INR 5 Lakh. The Isuzu MU-X SUV competes in the market with the likes of Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, and the Skoda Kodiaq.
According to the reports, the discount offers are available with a limited number of dealers as well as on selected colours. As per the dealerships, the black colour for the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has already been sold out while the customers can still get a discount on Dark Red, Silver, Brown, and White colour options.
One of the major reasons to offer a discount on both the Isuzu products is to clear off the existing stock as the brand is planning to launch the much anticipated automatic gearbox version for the D-Max V-Cross pickup truck. In addition to this, the truck is also getting a BSVI engine which is mandatory according to the new government regulations which will be under effect from April 1, 2020.
The 2.5-litre engine available on the D-Max V-Cross is capable of churning out a maximum power of 134HP and an utmost torque of 320 Nm. The new BSVI compliant 1.9 Litre, four-cylinder engine will offer a power of 160HP and a maximum torque of 360 Nm. the engine will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox in addition to a 5-speed automatic unit. The new model of the pickup truck will feature an updated infotainment system as well as new alloy wheels.
