Jeep Compass is an impressive SUV for its segment and getting the same with discounts of up to INR 1.20 lakh makes the deal even better than ever. The highest available discount is on the Black Pack edition of the Compass while least discount is offered on Longitude variant. The number varies for every variant and petrol Compass commands a maximum discount of INR 1.10 lakh. As Jeep Compass rivals Tata Harrier and Hyundai Tucson in its segment, the discounted pricing on 2018 variants can help the brand bring stronger monthly sales.

Jeep Compass is available with 1.4L, four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 163 HP and 250 Nm. The diesel engine is bigger than usual, getting 2.0L of displacement and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is available with 6-speed manual and 7-speed AT gearbox. The availability of automatic gearbox on diesel is yet to become a reality and it can be seen in the upcoming Trailhawk version. The engine will keep the output similar with that gearbox but adding more ground clearance and 4×4 as standard will improve the overall Compass brand value.
