Meet Mind-Blowing Jeep Renegade Willys Limited Edition

2018 Sao Paulo Motor Show held in Brazil in November 2018 saw the unfolding of a limited edition Jeep Renegade Willys, the brand’s ode to respect for the legendary Willys. The pre-bookings are now open for the limited edition SUV in South America. The production for the Renegade Willys is limited to 250 units only. Jeep is expected to showcase the Renegade in India next year at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The first pre-bookers can choose their exclusive jacket and the number at the back varying from 1 to 250. The special edition SUV gets a price tag of R$146,990 (INR 26 lakh, approximate). Every buyer of the limited edition Jeep Renegade Willys will be presented with a kit that actually resembles a jet fuel gauge encompassing an exclusive jacket, a Stanley thermos, a dog tag as well as a suitcase.

The Jeep Renegade Willys is based on the Longitude 2.0 4×4 diesel version while gets an exclusive green colour shade and classic styling. The SUV is powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 170 HP at 3,750 rpm and an utmost torque of 350 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.

Coming to the interiors, the limited edition SUV borrows many features from the Longitude variant in terms of the 8.4-inch infotainment system, seven airbags as standard as well as automatic climate control for additional comfort. The seats are engraved with a star logo while the dashboard also exhibits a limited edition license plate. The front fenders of the Jeep Renegade Willys Special Edition get Classic “Willys” sign encrypted on each side of the bonnet as well as a star symbol have been engraved on the C-pillar to justify its exclusivity.
