According to recent reports, the first batch of the recently launched Jeep Wrangler Rubicon SUV has been sold out in the Indian markets. The information has been officially revealed by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). The brand has further revealed that the first batch of the SUV is ready to be delivered to its respective customers.
The off-roader Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was launched by the brand earlier in March 2020 at a price tag of INR 68.94 lakhs while the 5-door SUV has been brought to the Indian market as a CBU unit. The brand has specifically designed the Rubicon version with hardcore off-roading capabilities that can conquer every terrain.
Powering the Rubicon off-road SUV is a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 265HP and a peak torque of 400Nm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that offers power to all the four wheels.
The SUV features 4:1 4LO low-range gear ratio on its two-speed transfer case which adds on to the off-roading functionalities while the addition of a torque management system enhances the overall articulation.
In addition to this, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon comes equipped with a gearbox that features a crawl ratio of 77.2:1 and allows the SUV to climb the steepest of roads with ease. The ground clearance of the SUV stands 217mm and is 2mm higher when compared to the standard Jeep Wrangler variant.
Inside the cabin is an 8.4-inch infotainment system that is further compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition to this, the SUV features a digital instrument unit, automatic climate control, cruise control and so many more premium features. The brand has further equipped the off-road SUV variant with a premium safety package that features front and side airbags, ABS, Hill Start Assist, parking camera and more.
