Kia Carnival MPV Available with INR 2.11 Lakh Discount in India

Kia Carnival MPV was officially launched in India back at the Auto Expo in February 2020 with a starting price tag of INR 24.95 lakhs (ex-showroom). For reference, the Toyota Innova Crysta diesel-automatic costs INR 18.78-23.63 lakhs, which means Carnival is not a direct rival to Innova. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list for the Kia Carnival MPV:
  • Premium (7-seater): INR 24.95 lakh
  • Premium (8-seater): INR 25.15 lakh
  • Prestige (7-seater): INR 28.95 lakh
  • Prestige (9-seater): INR 29.95 lakh
  • Limousine (7-seater): INR 33.95 lakh
According to recent reports, for the first time ever, Kia is offering discounts of up to INR 2.11 lakhs on the Carnival premium MPV. The discount package includes:
  • Maintenance Package for 3 years/unlimited km worth INR 48,000
  • Exchange Bonus of INR 80,000 on all Carnival variants
  • Corporate Discount of up to INR 46,000
  • Rear Seat Entertainment Unit worth INR 36,560 (Prestige & Premium variants)

It comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The ARAI certified mileage of the MPV stands at 13.9 kmpl. The Kia Carnival MPV comes equipped with dual airbags, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and a rear camera as standard. In terms of comfort, the base variant (Premium) gets projector headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, three-zone automatic climate control, an 8.0-inch touchscreen with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, keyless entry/go, tilt and telescopic steering and power-adjustable wing mirrors. The Carnival MPV gets three seating configurations along with three trims – the entry-level premium variant is available as a 7 and 8-seater, the mid-spec prestige variant comes as a 7 or 9-seater whereas the top-spec Limousine variant gets a 7-seat layout with plush ‘VIP’ second-row seats. The three seating configurations are arranged in such a way that the 7-seater model gets 2+2+3 arrangement, the 8-seater version gets 2+3+3 design while the 9-seater variant gets the fourth row of seats arranged in 2+2+2+3 format.
