Kia Seltos is one of the best-selling cars in India by the brand. Currently, the carmaker is gearing up to launch the facelift model of the Seltos, and it has finally revealed the exterior and interior design of the car in South Korea. We are also looking for the Seltos Facelift to make its way to our shores. The facelift is expected to make its official debut in India during the 2023 Auto Expo in January next year.
Scrutinising the design and styling of the car in the walkaround video by BPD, we found that the new facelift model keeps the existing model’s design language, however, with some essential updates. The front and rear design elements on the car are easily capable of differentiating the 2023 model from the current model. It boasts a new front fascia with a massive air dam, reworked headlights, and LED DRLs. The Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille has also been used on the front facade.
The fake skid plate’s bull bar-like shape has been changed to a horn-like form inspired by the Sonet SUV. The lower section of the front bumper, which houses the LED cube effect fog lights, has also been revamped and is cleaner than before, which featured sharp cuts and indents. There are some elusive updates to the rear profile. However, one can easily notice them. The LED light bars are extended toward each other, and they meet the Kia logo in the middle.
As far as interior updates are concerned, the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift comes with a fully-digital instrument cluster as well as new upholstery. Also, just like the Kia Carens, the Seltos facelift has also been fitted with six airbags as standard. This global Seltos is seen with a sporty black interior with red accents and a premium-looking upholstery finished in black and beige shades. In terms of mechanical updates, the Seltos facelift is going to be offered with the same powertrain options.
