Kia Carnival Now Available with 30-Day Return Scheme in India

Kia Carnival Now Available with 30-Day Return Scheme: Kia Carnival was officially launched in India back at the Auto Expo in February 2020. It is the brand’s most expensive product for the Indian market. At present, Carnival is available with a starting price tag of INR 24.95 lakhs while the top-spec variant costs INR 33.95 lakhs.

According to a recent report by Autocar India, Kia Carnival is now available with a ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’. Under this scheme, in case the new buyers are not satisfied with the purchase, they can return the MPV within the first 30 days of purchase to get a 95% refund of the total cost incurred to buy the vehicle. As per the details available, the refund amount includes the ex-showroom price and overheads incurred for registration. Here are the conditions to avail the 30-day return scheme:

  • The new vehicle should have covered under 1,500km
  • For financed vehicles, NOC will be required from the finance company
  • The scheme is available for private owners only

“Last month, we introduced our new brand purpose of inspiring consumers through products and services and their experiences with the brand. The ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ is the first step to bring this purpose to life and is designed to offer a differentiated Kia ownership experience to our customers, prioritizing their peace of mind during these testing times,” said Tae-Jin Park, Executive Director & CSBO, Kia India.

The Carnival MPV gets three seating configurations along with three trims – the entry-level premium variant is available as a 7 and 8-seater, the mid-spec prestige variant comes as a 7 or 9-seater whereas the top-spec Limousine variant gets a 7-seat layout with plush ‘VIP’ second-row seats.

Mechanically, the MPV is powered by a BS6-compliant 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 200HP of maximum power and 440Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The ARAI certified mileage of the MPV stands at 13.9 kmpl.
