Kia Seltos is all set to be launched in India on August 22, 2019. The first-ever Kia SUV for the Indian market will be available in two engine options namely 1.4-litre Turbo GDI petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The SUV once launched in India will compete in the market with the likes of Hyundai Creta, MG Hector, Jeep Compass, and the Tata Harrier.
The customers can avail the Kia Seltos in 8 variants where the HT moniker has been used to represent the diesel variants and GT for the petrol variants. The official website has now listed all the colour options as well as the interior details of the SUV.
One of the major differences between the HT Line and the GT Line is the wheels. The alloy wheels under the GT moniker gets a dual-tone machine-washed finish while the alloy wheels under the HT line gets single-tone dark gunmetal finish. The petrol variants of the GT line features an aluminium-red combination for the front bumper while the HT variants get silver inserts at the front.
The boot lid, as well as the front grille of the SUV, features a GT line badge for the petrol variants. The interiors of the SUV gets a dual-tone beige-black finish while the diesel line will get a light beige approach for the seats and upholstery with white stitching near the gear lever and the front armrest. The sportier red stitching with GT badges on the seats and upholstery is offered on the GT line up.
Coming to the comfort and convenience, the Kia Seltos gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen as well as a 7-inch instrument console. The SUV has been equipped with a premium Bose sound system, power-adjustable seats and UVO Connect features. In terms of safety, the Kia Seltos gets 6 airbags, 360-degree parking camera, ABS, EBD, and vehicle stability management. The car is expected to get an ex-showroom price range of INR 11-17 lakh.
