New Kia Seltos Gravity Officially Unveiled in Korea

Kia has officially unveiled an all-new top-spec Seltos Gravity variant for the Korean market. The SUV has been offered more safety features in addition to some exterior and interior cosmetic changes. At present, Kia has no plans to launch the Seltos Gravity in the Indian market but the brand may consider it at a later stage in future.

Chrome-Studded Front Grille

Coming to the exterior changes, the Kia Seltos Gravity features a chrome-studded front grille with three-dimensional design elements. The new variant of the SUV also gets dual-tone 18-inch machined alloy wheels and chrome-finish outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), window garnish and a rear skid plate.

In terms of interior, the Seltos Gravity features an exclusive grey/black colour scheme. When compared to the right-hand drive India-spec model, the left-hand drive international-spec Kia Seltos features a slightly different design for the infotainment system and the instrument console.

Some of the key interior features include a large MID (Multi-Information Display) in the instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment system with UVO connected car tech, Bose sound system, ambient lighting, an automatic air conditioner, remote engine start and a wireless smartphone charger.

In addition to the safety features offered on the standard model of the Seltos, the Kia Seltos Gravity also features forward collision prevention assistance system which automatically avoids collision with an oncoming vehicle at an intersection. The SUV has also been equipped with a rear passenger notification system which reminds the driver while exiting the car about the passengers who might be seated at the back.

Dual-Tone 18-inch Machined Alloy Wheels

Mechanically, the Kia Seltos Gravity is available in Korea with two engine options: 177HP 1.6-litre turbo-petrol and 136HP 1.6-litre diesel. Both the engine options are available with a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission as standard along with an optional all-wheel (4×4) drive system.
