Kia Soluto has been introduced in the Philippines in two variants, rivalling none other than the iconic Honda City and Toyota Vios for the market. The car is currently available in the left-hand drive format and thus, may not be an ideal option for the Indian market. Soluto measures 4300mm in length and offer 2570mm of decent wheelbase for a sedan of its size. The overall storage for the luggage area is 475-liters. The car is based on the last-generation Hyundai Verna architecture and may get considered as an option once Kia Motors create enough space for itself in the selected segments.
Kia Soluto comes with the iconic Kia tiger-nose grille with chrome upper line, standard halogen headlights, fog lights within the black lower grille section, air-inlets around the bumper corners, a regular c-pillar and basic tail section with decent designing and reflectors in the bumper. Unlike the ultra-modern cars from Kia and Hyundai, the Soluto comes with ageless side profile like the Etios sedan from Toyota in India. The alloy wheel design is multi-spoke and decent in comparison to the low profile-supporting machine-finished wheels on the international rivals of the Kia Soluto. The official images show the car in Red and Blue exterior shade.
The car comes with leatherette interior finish with completely black dashboard and chrome lines around the vents. The air conditioner is manual while steering wheel comes with gloss black inserts and button-supporting functions. The seats are finished in dual tone black and beige combination while black still stays the primary shade on all interior components. The legroom is available in abundance for average-built adults while gearbox option can be selected from the 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic option. The 1.4L petrol motor is good for 95 HP and 132 Nm of torque on the Kia Soluto.
