Lamborghini Huracan has reached another milestone in its four year journey and this time, it has completed the 10,000 production mark successfully from the assembly line. The car was first seen at 2014 Geneva Motor Show and recently, Verde Mantis Green shade was shipped to a customer in Canada.
2017 was a record year for Lamborghini as they delivered 3,815 cars worldwide. This number is quite fascinating as more than 10 cars found a buyer each day around countries where Lamborghini retails its products. All of them are expensive and for countries like India, they almost cost more than double.
Gallardo was another popular car from Lamborghini. It almost ruled this segment for a decade and then handed everything over to Huracan. As life cycle of a supercar is different from regular cars, expecting a change in product design is far away for Huracan.
Lamborghini Huracan can be bought in number of variants, offering rear wheel drive, all wheel drive, low performance (much higher than everyday cars) and high performance outputs. They even retail Performante variant with highest possible performance and electronic packs for a car of this segment. Sharper than a sword, Huracan tears air apart like no other.
The 5.2 liter, V10 engine on Lamborghini Huracan Performante is good for 631 BHP and 600 Nm of torque. This helps the car achieve 325 kmph of top speed and 2.9 second, 100 kmph sprint time from standstill.
2018 Daytona 24 hour race victory resulted in this special shade that 10,000th buyer of Huracan in Canada will receive. The least powerful Huracan named LP580-2 is even good for 571 BHP and 540 Nm of torque. This makes it good for 3.4 second, 0-100 kmph sprint. Price starts at INR 2.99 Crore for this version.
