Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD Launched in India @ INR 3.22 Crore

Lamborghini has officially launched the Huracan EVO RWD (Rear-Wheel Drive) in the Indian market. The all-new model of the Huracan has been priced at INR 3.22 crore (ex-showroom, India). The RWD supercar comes equipped with a new front splitter and air intake, along with a reworked rear diffuser that differentiates it from the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) model of the Huracan EVO. Coming to the features, the EVO RWD gets a fully-digital instrument cluster, 19-inch alloys shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres, and an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay.

Mechanically, the supercar comes powered with the same 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 engine, which is available in all previous models of the Huracan. However, the engine is tuned to churn out 610HP of maximum power at 8,000 rpm along 560Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.

This means that the Huracan EVO RWD makes 40HP more power than the last-gen Huracan RWD but 30HP and 40Nm less than the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) model of the supercar. The EVO RWD reaches from 0-100kmph in 3.3 seconds, while it takes 9.3 seconds to reach from 0-200kmph. The claimed top speed of the supercar is 325kmph.

The Huracan EVO RWD weighs 33kg less than the all-wheel-drive mode of the EVO, as it has a lighter rear-wheel-drive layout. It also gets a specially tuned version of the Lamborghini Performance Traction Control System (P-TCS) that features the Strada, Sport and Corsa drive modes.

Lamborghini’s Dynamic Steering system is also said to be specifically tuned for the Huracan EVO RWD, to increase the driver feedback. Like we have seen in all other Lamborghinis, the EVO RWD is offered with a list of optional extras that allow buyers to customize their supercars to a large degree.

In terms of rivalry, the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD will go against the other two-wheel drive supercars like the Aston Martin Vantage, the Mercedes-AMG GT R, and the upcoming Ferrari F8 Tributo.
