Lego Land Rover Defender Launched at $199.99 (INR 14,200)

Lego has officially launched the scale model of the 2020 Land Rover Defender and it is being retailed in the US market for $199.99 (INR 14,200). It is the world-leading vehicle design of the Land Rover that can now be availed in the Lego replica which has been developed by the company in partnership with Land Rover.

With the help of the Lego Technic scale model, the brand has managed to capture an astonishing level of refinement and sculpted surfaces. In the scale model, you can easily notice the original design rims with ground-gripping tires which are in addition to a host of realistic features and functions.

The scale model has opening doors that enable access to a cabin that has a working steering wheel. It has a detailed dashboard design and also has one of the most sophisticated Lego Technic gearboxes which has a transmission system with 2 levers for engaging in high as well as low gear ratios mated with a selector for changing gear. The well-designed replica also has an in-line 6-cylinder engine with moving pistons beneath the openable bonnet whereas towards the interior it is equipped with forward-folding rear seats that give visual access to a 4-speed gearbox of the actual Land Rover.

The tail door is openable which can be done by turning the rear-mounted spare wheel and also has a removable roof rack, pannier, ladder and a traction mat which makes it a majestic interpretation of the all-terrain vehicle. The scale model is being retailed in three colour options which are olive green, grey, and black. It is interesting to know that the scale model by Lego has a total of 2,573 pieces. The dimensions of the Land Rover Defender measure up to 22cm in height, 42cm in length and 20cm in width. The scale model is for children over 11 years of age and is also being retailed on the official website of Lego.
