The 2019 Mahindra TUV300 has been launched in India at a starting price of INR 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new version has gone under certain exterior changes which provides a bolder look to the car. The facelifted version comes packed with more safety features which is why it costs around INR 10,000 more than the previous model.
Talking about the looks, the car has got a new muscular piano black front grille and also got new headlamp design with Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs), which look quite attractive. It also gets a skid plate and a small roof-mounted spoiler. At rear also it gets a major update, as the SUV now features clear-lens tail-lights and gets a stunning metallic grey spare wheel cover. Now, the car comes with sporty metallic grey 10-spoke alloy wheels.
Mechanically, the facelifted version will continue with the same 1.5-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine which is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The SUV is good for 100HP of maximum power at 3750 rpm, and 240 NM of maximum torque at 1600-2800 rpm. The safety features have also been upgraded with a driver-side airbag, along with ABS, rear parking sensors, seat-belt warning, and a speed warning system as standard across all variants.
The 2019 Mahindra TUV300 has been equipped with a 7.0-inch infotainment system, GPS navigation, reverse camera, steering mounted audio and telephony controls. The SUV’s seats are now wrapped in faux leather upholstery plus the driver and the co-driver also gets lumbar support adjustment on the T10 (O) variant.
