BS6 Mahindra KUV100 NXT Launched; Full Price List Revealed

According to the recent reports, the BS6 Mahindra KUV100 NXT has been launched in India at a starting price tag of INR 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The 18 different iterations of the subcompact SUV that were available for its BS4 avatar have now been reduced to only four for its BS6 version.

The customers can now avail the BS6-compliant KUV100 NXT in four trims namely K2+, K4+, K6+ and K8. In addition to this, the brand has also discontinued the diesel engine option for the compact car while the brand has also pulled the plug on the 5-seater version. The dual-tone colour scheme which was available with the K2 and K8 trims have also been discontinued from the subcompact SUV’s lineup.

Powering the BS6-complaint KUV100 NXT is a 1.2-litre, mFalcon G80, naturally-aspirated three-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 82 HP at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 115 Nm at 3,500-3,600 rpm. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. The customers can now avail the KUV100 NXT in a six-seater or an eight-seater version.

The brand has not updated the 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 turbocharged three-cylinder diesel engine that was available in the BS4 version though it might be available with some of the dealerships for sale in its BS4 avatar. The customers can get their hands on the BS4 diesel version of the sub-compact SUV post the nationwide lockdown though it will only be available for sale for 10 days with the dealerships and not after that.
