The BS6-compliant model of Mahindra Bolero is available in India with a starting price tag of INR 8.53 lakhs. The Utility Vehicle (UV) is available in three variants: the base variant B4, the mid-spec variant B6 priced at INR 9.27 lakhs, and the top-spec model B6 (O) that costs INR 9.52 lakhs. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.

Coming to the styling, the BS6 version features a fresh front design that includes a new bumper, grille, and headlamps. Despite the cosmetic changes, the car also complies with the new crash-test norms that were introduced in the Indian market back in October 2019. The BS6 Bolero also complies with the pedestrian safety norms that were implemented in October 2020.
The BS6-compliantMahindra Bolero became the first vehicle to be sold in India with metal bumpers to pass the pedestrian safety norms. Many features on the Bolero remain the same while its higher variants now come with static bending headlamps as standard. In terms of safety, the new model of the Bolero features ABS (anti-lock braking system), driver airbag, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, and reverse parking sensors as standard.
Mechanically, the BS6-compliant Bolero is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel mHawk75 engine that produces 75HP of maximum power along with 210Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The brand has not introduced any of the new Bolero variants with a 4-wheel-drive system. The Bolero has been among the oldest models from the brand as the first-gen model of the UV was introduced in the Indian market back in the year 2000.
