Mahindra has recently launched a car subscription service that allows the customers to own Mahindra vehicles without having to buy them. The brand has started the subscription service in partnership with Revv, a self-drive car rental service available across the country. The brand has taken the said initiative to boost its plummeting demand.
The interested customers can avail the Mahindra car subscription service at a starting price of INR 19,720 per month for the KUV100 NXT which includes the insurance, registration as well as the maintenance charges. The interested customers can subscribe to the scheme for 1 to 4 years.
The selected vehicle of the customer’s choice will be delivered to the customer within one month though he/she has to pay a refundable deposit based on the car model plus they have to mention the time they want to use the car. The first month fees for the car subscription will have to be paid in advance before getting the delivery.
The customer can return the car to the dealership when the subscription is over or can purchase it at a price tag predetermined by the brand. The customers can further upgrade their model from time to time while the charges will vary accordingly.
The subscription scheme covers cars like KUV100, XUV500, XUV300, Scorpio, TUV300, Marazzo, and the Alturas G4. For now, the brand is only offering the scheme to the customers residing in cities like Delhi (NCR), Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad.
Commenting on the launch of new subscription service, Veejay Ram Nakra, chief of sales and marketing for the automotive division at M&M stated – “We are introducing an all-new subscription model for retail customers of our personal vehicles. With this flexible, affordable offering, we hope to help our customers fulfil their aspiration of driving their desired vehicles without necessarily owning them.”
