The wait is over! Mahindra has officially launched the much-awaited Marazzo MPV in India with a starting price tag of INR 9.99 Lakh (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The all-new MPV will be offered in the premium zone that Mahindra is creating inside the existing dealerships. The exterior design of Marazzo is just as we expected, with a body that is inspired by a shark.
The design of the front grille is quite sharp, giving the Marazzo the proper look of a premium MPV. There is a U-shaped centerpiece on the grille and above that, there is the logo of Mahindra. There are flattened D-shaped chrome pieces that are present all along the grille instead of the slats that Mahindra offers on the other vehicles. There are projector headlamps along with LED Daytime Running Lights as well.
On the inside, we see a spacious cabin as Marazzo is available in two seat configurations, a 7-seat variant with captain seats in the middle row, and an 8-seat variant with a bench seat in the middle row. The third row for both the variants will get a bench seat. The entire interior has a proper premium feel to it. The dashboard looks exactly like it does on the other premium cars that are available in segments way above the Marazzo. The entire dashboard is covered in piano black inserts and has muted silver highlights accenting the blacks.
Mahindra Marazzo is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and the MPV also comes with steering mounted controls for the cruise control, music system controls, plus to use your smartphone for making calls via Bluetooth connectivity. The MPV also comes with a climate control system and we must say that the design of the centre console is one of the best we have ever seen on a Mahindra vehicle. The rivals of the Marazzo are primarily the Toyota Innova Crysta and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Mahindra’s all-new MPV is available in 6 eye-catching shades, and as per a statement by Mahindra, the brand would be launching automatic and petrol variants of Marazzo by 2020.
*Above mentioned prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
