2018 is the perfect year to get your hands on the new Mahindra Marazzo MPV as the Indian manufacturer has announced a price hike of INR 30,000-40,000 for the product. The launch of Marazzo took place with an introductory price range of INR 9.99 lakh to INR 13.90 lakh in September. They still gave more than three months to the buyers before bringing this price hike into action. Also, other cars in the company lineup can also attract a regular price hike in early 2019. The first two months were quite happening for the premium MPV as 10,000 bookings barrier was crossed easily.
The infotainment system on the car now supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Marazzo MPV features exclusive rear vents that are more effective in cooling than those available in other cars of its size. The vents are centrally mounted on the roof and throw air from both sides to create an atmosphere filled with comfort for both rear rows. The top variant of Marazzo is heavily equipped while even those going for the base variant will miss nothing except for the infotainment system. It even comes without an audio player or speaker fitment in the M2 variant.
The 1.5L, four-cylinder diesel engine on the Marazzo MPV is good for 121 BHP and 300 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The Indian UV manufacturer is expected to launch a similar sized petrol engine with an automatic gearbox for the car. The size of Marazzo is grand, measuring almost 300 mm longer than other MPV options around this price. The top variant is available with 17-inch alloy wheels. Marazzo offers 1866mm of impressive width and 1774mm of height. The wheelbase measures 2760mm. The car can be had in six mouthwatering shades.
