Mahindra Thar 700 Signature Edition Fully Revealed

Mahindra Thar 700 Signature Edition has surfaced online before the official arrival of the current-generation special edition model. Thar CRDe is the most powerful iteration of the popular off-road machine and not just the engine, even the size of tires and abilities of both the variants vary a lot.

Thar Signature Edition comes in a special Aqua Marine shade and interior features Kolon leatherette black seats with Thar emblem on the front seats. The all-new stunning decals are seen on both sides of the fender while alloy wheel design featured here comes with five flowing spokes like other Mahindra SUVs.

Signature Edition Thar comes with a limited edition batch on the right fender with the signature of Anand Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra Group. The front grille on the Aqua Marine car is finished in Napoli Black shade. Mahindra Thar is undergoing rigorous testing for the next-gen model, flaunting wider footprint and bigger than ever cabin.

The interior is ages ahead of the current-gen model on the new Thar but here, the improved seat covers and dual tone theme of the Thar helps the same stay fresh among its competition. The most powerful iteration of the Thar is good for 105 HP of maximum power.

Mahindra Thar 700 Signature Edition

The powerful presence of Thar is further highlighted through the practical flat glass area with an option to choose between no roof, soft roof, and hard top option. The Mahindra Thar 700 Signature Edition is powered by a 2498cc diesel engine, producing 105 HP of maximum power at just 3800 rpm and 247 Nm at 1800-2000 rpm.

The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The low and high gear ratios, along with 1750 kg of weight makes Thar a stable driving option for the worst possible road conditions. The price and launch date for the Mahindra Thar 700 Signature Edition is yet to be revealed.
