Christened as Hammer, the Mahindra Thar you see here has been redesigned from the core. The SUV features widebody detailing and the approximate cost of modification is INR 6 lakhs. This pricing does not include optional features and the donor vehicle has to be submitted by the owner only.
The front end of the DC Thar Hammer has been equipped with a redesigned gloss-finished bumper, projector headlights, fog lights, and fender-mounted lights. The extra-wide fenders have been custom-built for best-ever fitting and to enhance the overall design of the SUV.
A redesigned front grille promises a bolder stance while the visible glass area has been reduced for Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) looks on this typical Thar. This modified vehicle certainly looks boxy from the side angles but the redesigned wheel arches help in compensating the same. The door hinges of the SUV are large in size and have been finished in chrome.
The rear end of the DC Thar Hammer features a spare wheel mount, LED lights, and a perfectly planted glass area for parking assistance. The interior of the SUV has been upgraded in such a way that no one would have ever imagined. It features premium leather and wood finish in a bright shade.
DC Design may also offer different shades as per the customer’s requirement. The interior further features four huge circular air vents, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a chrome-lined overall finish. The seats have also been wrapped in the same bright red leather as the Hammer’s dashboard
