Mahindra Bolero Stinger 3 is the most modern avatar of India’s favourite UV. It features a ‘Sunny Yellow’ exterior paint finish along with metallic chrome and pearl finish on some of the body panels. The seven-seat stock model of the SUV is now good for five passengers as the last row has been successfully converted into an open deck.
The rear end of the Bolero Stinger 3 has been equipped with an eye-catching custom-made tyre mount with a yellow cover and black outline. The deck section looks unique as the loading area is limited and it looks more like a visual add-on rather than being a practical luggage space. The side profile features extended wheel arches and chrome alloy wheels with massive off-road tyres.
The side profile also features thick cladding around the window belt and C-pillar area. The front section features a custom-designed grille, headlights with dual-barrel halogen lamps, black bumper highlights, a faux skid plate, and a visible snorkel. The highlights help Mahindra Bolero Stinger 3 claim a special status among all modified models as the majority of modifiers uses dark shades for SUVs. The interior features black seats with yellow visible lines, a yellow gear shift lever along with matching dashboard inserts with Stinger branding. The leather-wrapped steering wheel raises the overall character of the UV.
As far as the stock model of Mahindra Bolero is concerned, the BS6-compliant version is currently available with a starting ex-showroom price tag of around INR 8.53 lakhs. Mechanically, the new model of Bolero gets a 1.5-litre three-cylinder diesel mHawk75 engine that produces 75HP of maximum power along with 210Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
